Environmental Crime Prevention Specialist

The Kingdom Group is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Environmental Crime Prevention Specialist to join our team. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining public health, safety, and environmental standards by enforcing environmental laws and regulations.
**Responsibilities:**
* Enforce environmental regulations and local by-laws related to littering, fly-tipping, graffiti, waste management, noise pollution, and other environmental concerns.
* Patrol assigned areas to detect violations and ensure compliance with environmental laws.
* Investigate reports of environmental offenses from the public and respond promptly to complaints.
**Issuing Fines and Notices:**
* Issue fixed penalty notices (FPNs) and citations to individuals or businesses for non-compliance with environmental laws.
* Prepare and serve legal documents, including warning notices and fines, in accordance with local laws.
**Investigation and Reporting:**
* Investigate environmental offenses such as illegal dumping, abandoned vehicles, and unlawful waste disposal by gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and preparing case files.
* Use surveillance equipment, including cameras, to monitor and collect evidence of environmental crimes.
* Report findings to senior management and collaborate with legal teams to pursue prosecutions when necessary.
**Court Proceedings and Legal Support:**
* Prepare case files for prosecution, including collecting evidence, photographs, and witness statements.
* Attend court proceedings and present evidence as required to support legal action against environmental offenders.
