Kingdom Group is a leading supplier to Local Authorities, providing services to combat environmental crime. As an Environmental Crime Enforcement Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining public health, safety, and environmental standards by enforcing environmental laws and regulations.

Job Description

This position involves investigating environmental violations, issuing warnings, fines, or citations, and educating the public about environmental responsibilities. You will work closely with local authorities, businesses, and residents to promote compliance and help reduce environmental crimes such as littering, fly-tipping, and pollution.

Responsibilities
  • Enforce environmental regulations and local by-laws relating to littering, fly-tipping, graffiti, waste management, noise pollution, and other environmental concerns.
  • Patrol assigned areas to detect violations and ensure compliance with environmental laws.
  • Investigate reports of environmental offenses from the public and respond promptly to complaints.
  • Issue fixed penalty notices (FPNs) and citations to individuals or businesses for non-compliance with environmental laws.
