Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Training & Competency Manager to join our team at Randstad Construction and Property. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing training frameworks that meet the evolving needs of our business. Your primary focus will be on identifying skills gaps, developing targeted training programs, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing Training Strategies: Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement comprehensive training strategies that address identified skills gaps and enhance workforce capabilities.
  • Delivering High-Quality Training: Oversee and facilitate the delivery of high-quality training programs, both in-house and through external providers, ensuring alignment with operational goals and project requirements.
  • Conducting Skills Gap Analyses: Regularly conduct training needs analyses to identify areas for improvement and develop tailored solutions.
  • Maintaining Compliance: Ensure all training and competency activities adhere to regulatory standards, health & safety requirements, and company policies.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of competency management systems and training best practices.
  • The ability to assess skills gaps and develop tailored training strategies.
  • Proficiency in training-related software and tools.
  • Experience in a Training & Competency Management role, ideally within the construction and property sector.

We offer a competitive salary range of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development in a dynamic work environment.
