About the Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to take operational leadership for the management of a small education team and for working with the relevant clinical and educational directors, clinicians, managers, and staff within The Christie, AML, and throughout the national PET-CT Academy network.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Work with the PET-CT SMT to align the education offering and delivery mode to the requirements of the PET-CT national contract, NHSE policy, and deliverables for service and workforce requirements.
  2. Ensure that long and midterm educational plans are responsive to national drivers, national workforce demands, and take account of changes in professional bodies' requirements for practice.
  3. Develop systems for capturing quality data from all educational programmes and prepare/present these reports at the appropriate local and national governance systems overseeing this contract.
Requirements
  • Experience of managing change, managing performance, working to deadlines, and managing difficulties.
  • Regional or national project management experience.
  • Ability to manage complex data, interpret outcomes, and create simple yet effective reports.

The estimated salary for this position is £55,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience. The successful candidate will be based at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust, Manchester.
