About the Role

We are seeking a Programme Director to join our team at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our education department, you will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of high-quality educational programmes that meet the needs of our workforce, partners, and the contract.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communication and Leadership: Be the point of contact for AML in managing the Education contract, ensuring effective communication with PET CT Academy and AML contract leads.
  • Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with educational leads from external academy partners to develop training programmes, coordinating clinical experts within and outside The Christie.
  • Training Development and Delivery: Create new and innovative approaches to PET-CT education, developing and delivering educational development and CPD programmes for healthcare professionals.

Planning, Strategic, and Organisational: Work with the PET-CT SMT to align the education offering and delivery mode to national contract requirements, NHSE policy, and deliverables for service and workforce demands.

Requirements
  • Knowledge and Qualifications: Clinical qualification relevant to the national PET-CT service, project management qualification, business management or leadership qualification.
  • Experience: Experience of working in PET-CT nuclear medicine, radiotherapy, or radiology fields, leading organisational, regional, or national projects or programmes, managing change, performance, and difficulties.

The estimated salary for this role is £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. This figure is based on national averages and may vary depending on location and other factors.
