Job Title: High Level Teaching Assistant

Qualiteach Ltd is seeking an experienced and passionate High-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team in a Special Educational Needs (SEN) environment.

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated HLTA to fill a full-time position in a secondary SEN School where they cater for students with Autism, challenging behaviour, PMLD and other disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide targeted support to pupils with a range of SEN, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
  • Assist in planning and delivering tailored lessons, adapting content to meet the diverse needs of pupils across different age groups.
  • Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to ensure each pupil receives the best possible support.
  • Prepare and organise specialised teaching materials and resources to facilitate effective learning.
  • Implement and support behaviour management strategies that create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
