About This Opportunity:

We're seeking a skilled Business Manager to support the strategy and achieve growth aspirations within the Cardnet Business and as part of the Cardnet Growth Acceleration Programme.

Key Responsibilities:

">
  • Support the Managing Director in running the business and team, being instrumental in team culture
  • Coordinate written input to formal Group and BCB committees and monitor progress of formal actions
  • Produce high-quality presentations on developments and priorities for the team to partners across the bank at all levels
  • SUPPORT DELIVERY OF TEAM STRATEGIC AND TRANSFORMATIONAL AGENDA
  • Lead cost budget working closely with finance partner
  • Manage executive office team
  • Establish and deliver communication strategy across team and BCB
  • Proactively identify and manage process issues and business risks, ensuring highest professional awareness of market developments and impending regulatory change
  • Build relationships with Merchant Services leadership, wider teams, and partners across BCB & Transformation
  • Develop strong working relationship with MD and ELT
  • Manage governance responsibilities (e.g. quarterly training)
  • Drive overall team People Agenda

What You'll Need:

  • Desirable: Two years or more experience at top-tier consultancy, investment bank, or merchant payments organisation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Demonstrable management/leadership experience
  • High degree of numeracy
  • Critical thinking and thought leadership
  • Resilience
  • Strong relationship management skills

Estimated Salary:

£62,000 - £105,000 per annum (dependent on experience & location)
