About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced logistics professional to join our team as a Collections and Delivery Driver. As a key member of our operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and efficient collection and delivery of parcels.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a valid 7.5T (C1) licence, Driver Qualification Card (DQC), and Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) accreditation. They will also possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Main Responsibilities

  • Commence daily operations at the depot, assisting with the loading of parcels onto the vehicle.
  • Execute a predetermined delivery and collection schedule, typically comprising 50-60 stops within the designated area.
  • Operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle in strict compliance with all traffic regulations and company safety protocols.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during collections and deliveries, maintaining a high standard of professionalism and customer service at all times.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

  • A valid 7.5T (C1) licence

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet strict deadlines
