About the Role

The University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced clinical pharmacist to lead the Clinical Pharmacy Operations for Oncology and Haematology at the Trust. This is a rare opportunity to join a world-class care team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide professional leadership for the cancer service delivery of all pharmacists working within cancer services.
  • Lead on the strategic development of Cancer Services, within the Trust in collaboration with users of the service and key stakeholders.
  • Develop, communicate and implement a strategy for Cancer services at a local level by working with providers, users and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Masters of Pharmacy Degree (MPharm), BPharm or BSc (Pharmacy).
  • Postgraduate Masters/Doctorate in clinical oncology or equivalent specialist experience.
  • Postgraduate Masters in management or equivalent experience.
  • Member of The General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • Independent Prescriber.

  • Leadership qualification.
