Clinical Pharmacy Operations Lead

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacy Operations Lead to join our team at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Cancer Services Division, you will play a vital role in leading the Clinical Pharmacy Operations for Oncology and Haematology.
Key Responsibilities- Provide professional leadership for the cancer service delivery of all pharmacists working within cancer services.
- Offer expert advice on pharmaceutical matters, undertaking risk management and ensuring compliance with medicines legislation.
- Lead on the strategic development of Cancer Services, within the Trust in collaboration with users of the service and key stakeholders.
- Develop, communicate and implement a strategy for Cancer services at a local level by working with providers, users and stakeholders.
- Identify how the clinical pharmacy services for cancer services can support the delivery of high-quality care.

- Masters of Pharmacy Degree (MPharm), BPharm or BSc (Pharmacy).
- Postgraduate Masters/Doctorate in clinical oncology or equivalent specialist experience.
- Postgraduate Masters in management or equivalent experience.
- Member of The General Pharmaceutical Council.
- Independent Prescriber.
