Job Overview:

Burman Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Deputy Head of Buildings & Services to join their existing team. The successful candidate will support the existing Head of Buildings & Services, as well as take on personal tasks and projects. The role requires a strong background in hard facilities management and the ability to offer technical advice to the engineering team (electrical, mechanical, plumbing, gas etc).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Head of Buildings & Services on creating new departmental policies and procedures.
  • Support the Head of Buildings & Services in managing and monitoring the Maintenance Management System.
  • Ensure that maintenance staff and subcontractors work safely and responsibly.
  • Oversee and allocate shared resources, such as maintenance vehicles, for efficient job performance.
