Commercial Finance Manager M&A

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Finance Executive to join our team at Clive Owen LLP.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside our newly appointed partner with over 20 years of extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions. As a Corporate Finance Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving our firm's growth and success in the competitive financial landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the partner in leading M&A transactions from commencement through to completion, including liaising with clients, lawyers, funders, and other advisers.
- Undertake valuations of various businesses, either as a standalone engagement or to support the assessment of M&A options.
- Conduct potential acquirers and target reviews, by reviewing websites and working with partners across the UK and overseas, in readiness for presenting the outputs to clients.
- Prepare financial projections models, working closely with clients to identify and challenge the assumptions underlying the financial projections.
- Participate in financial due diligence to support fund-raising, private equity, and M&A transactions.
- Develop a network of contacts across the professional community and serve as an ambassador for Clive Owen Corporate Finance.
- Travel to clients' premises and attend networking events as required.
- Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in speaking to clients and colleagues face-to-face, over the telephone, and by email.
- Display flexibility and proactivity in managing multiple priorities.
Desirable Qualifications
Recent practice background with exposure to accounts, audit, and/or tax, along with strong technical knowledge, is highly desirable. Experience in preparing and/or reviewing financial projections models, as well as share valuation models, would be beneficial.
