Corporate Finance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Finance Manager to join our team at Clive Owen LLP. As a key member of our Corporate Finance department, you will play a pivotal role in driving our firm's growth and success in the competitive financial landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the partner in leading M&A transactions from commencement through to completion, including liaising with clients, lawyers, funders, and other advisers.
  • Undertake and review valuations of various businesses, either as a standalone engagement or to support the assessment of M&A options.
  • Conduct potential acquirers and target reviews, by reviewing websites and working with partners across the UK and overseas, in readiness for presenting the outputs to clients.
  • Prepare and review financial projections models, working closely with clients to identify and challenge the assumptions underlying the financial projections.
  • Participate in financial due diligence to support fund-raising, private equity, and M&A transactions.
  • Undertake line management duties for your team, including reviewing and allocating work, reviewing timesheets, and providing regular feedback.
  • Undertake monthly billing tasks and maintain a network of contacts across the Northeast professional community.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience of delivering corporate finance assignments from commencement through to completion.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to travel to clients' premises and attend networking events as required.
  • Flexibility and proactivity in managing multiple priorities.

Desirable:

  • Recent practice background with exposure to accounts, audit, and/or tax, with strong technical knowledge.
  • Experience in preparing and/or reviewing financial projections models and share valuation models.
