Fertility Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Fertility Specialist to join our team at the NHS. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and advice to patients accessing our fertility services.
The Fertility Specialist will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide a holistic approach to fertility investigations, treatment, and early pregnancy care. The role will involve coordinating the daily activities of the Gynaecology Emergency Assessment Clinic and Fertility Unit at Northampton General Hospital.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of national and local strategies and policies pertaining to fertility services. They will also have experience of managing a service and clinic independently and be able to plan, assist, and evaluate patient care pathways.
The Fertility Specialist will be responsible for promoting evidence-based practice, reviewing the evidence for clinical practice within the specialist fields, and participating in meetings within the directorate or Trust when required.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. They will also have a strong commitment to professional development and be able to maintain accurate clinical records.
Main Responsibilities- Provide high-quality care and advice to patients accessing fertility services.
