About the Role

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Debt Recovery Specialist to join our finance team at 24-7 Diamond Drilling & Sawing Services Ltd.

This role involves managing and overseeing the credit control process, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts while maintaining positive relationships with clients. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage the credit control process for assigned accounts.
  • Conduct regular credit checks and assess the creditworthiness of clients.
  • Communicate with clients via phone and email to follow up on outstanding invoices.
  • Record and maintain accurate data entry of all transactions and communications.
  • Analyse aged debt reports to identify overdue accounts and implement collection strategies.
  • Collaborate with the accounts payable department to resolve discrepancies.
  • Provide reports on outstanding debts and collection efforts to management.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in accounting software is essential for effective management of financial records.
  • Experience in financial services or a related field is advantageous.
  • Strong phone etiquette with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients.
  • Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial documentation.
  • Ability to analyse financial data and make informed decisions regarding credit risks.
