About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Engineer to join our team at Ferrovial Construction. As a key member of our site operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safety, Health, Environment & Sustainability
    • Develop and implement safety procedures to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
    • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
    • Collaborate with the project team to develop and implement environmental sustainability initiatives.
  • Dimensional/Spatial Control
    • Ensure accurate measurement and control of construction projects.
    • Develop and implement dimensional control plans to ensure project deliverables are met.
    • Collaborate with the project team to identify and resolve any dimensional control issues.
  • Workmanship, Quality, Inspection & Testing
    • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure high-quality construction work.
    • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
    • Collaborate with the project team to identify and resolve any quality control issues.
  • Information, Change Control & Records
    • Develop and implement information management procedures to ensure accurate and up-to-date project information.
    • Collaborate with the project team to identify and resolve any information management issues.
  • Permanent Works Materials, Products, Plant & Systems
    • Develop and implement procedures for the management of permanent works materials, products, plant, and systems.
    • Collaborate with the project team to identify and resolve any issues related to permanent works materials, products, plant, and systems.
  • Construction Methods, Practices and Innovation
    • Develop and implement procedures for the management of construction methods, practices, and innovation.
    • Collaborate with the project team to identify and resolve any issues related to construction methods, practices, and innovation.
  • Temporary Works/Systems & Cranes
    • Develop and implement procedures for the management of temporary works, systems, and cranes.
    • Collaborate with the project team to identify and resolve any issues related to temporary works, systems, and cranes.
  • Engineering Knowledge – Capture, Sharing & Using
    • Develop and implement procedures for the capture, sharing, and use of engineering knowledge.
    • Collaborate with the project team to identify and resolve any issues related to engineering knowledge.
  • Experience & Knowledge
    • Proven experience in civil engineering and construction.
    • Strong knowledge of construction methods, practices, and innovation.
    • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
