Avature is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Assessor to join our team. As a Nurse Functional Assessor, you will use your clinical expertise to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life.

In this role, you will work on complex cases involving physical and mental health conditions and chronic pain disorders. Your compassion and experience will help customers move forward with their lives.

You will conduct telephone, video or face-to-face assessments to produce Work Capability Assessment (WCA) reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). This will involve developing your clinical knowledge and assessment skills with regular feedback and supervision.

This position requires a valid NMC registration number, at least one year of broad post-registration adult or mental health experience, and the right to work in the UK. You must be comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports.

The salary for this position is £39,500 per annum, with an additional £1,500 skills allowance available. Flexible working arrangements are offered, including full-time, part-time, and hybrid options. Avature also provides leading maternity and paternity paid leave, as well as 25 days' holiday with the option to buy or sell five days.

A comprehensive benefits package includes ongoing CPD, clinical development, reimbursed validation fees, and life insurance. In-person clinical conferences are held annually, providing opportunities for professional growth and networking.

Estimated salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, dependent on location and experience.
