Camhs Ward Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Camhs Ward Manager to join our team at Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing the care pathway for young people at The Darwin Centre from referral to discharge.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure effective communication with families, referrers, and external agencies
- Manage commissioning arrangements, bed management, and case load management for the team
- Have overall management responsibility for the delivery of care within the unit, in accordance with Trust policies and procedures
- Lead a team of clinical staff in the delivery of high-quality evidence-based practice
- Ensure that all children and families have high-quality comprehensive and collaborative care plans
- Oversee and support the team's management of clinical risk
- Support the clinical team to create accurate documents of their observations and assessments
- Ensure that systems that operate for staff support and supervision are maintained
- Professional qualification in Nursing
- Current registration with the NMC
- Post-graduate qualification or significant experience related to child, adolescent, or family mental health
- Training in supervision
- Physical intervention training
- Experience of working in an intensive service with children and/or families
- Good understanding and experience in delivering clinical and management supervision
- Experience and understanding of performance management
- Experience, knowledge, and training in management and leadership
- Comprehensive understanding of the MHA, children's Act, and safeguarding
- Experience, knowledge, and training in policy and service development
