Mentor for Emotional Wellbeing

We are seeking an exceptional SEMH Teaching Assistant to join our team at Philosophy Education. This role is designed to support students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in a dynamic and inclusive environment.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position, working 8 hours a day, Monday to Friday. As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing one-to-one support to students, helping them develop their day-to-day and academic skills.
- You will also help students build their self-esteem and regulate their emotions.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with SEMH needs and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements- An Enhanced DBS certificate is required to work with children.
- You will need two references covering the past two years.
Please note that previous experience as a 1:1 SEMH Teaching Assistant is beneficial but not essential. Knowledge of SEN is also beneficial but not necessary.
Salary InformationThe estimated salary for this role is £27,500 per annum, depending on experience.
