Support Worker for Complex Needs

We are seeking a skilled and empathetic Support Worker to join our team in the Chippenham area, providing care and support to a mid-20s adult with complex care needs.
About the RoleThis is an excellent opportunity to work with a person who communicates using a mix of speech and Makaton. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for delivering personalized care and support to meet the client's unique needs.
Key Responsibilities- Delivering 24-hour shifts: You will be part of a team delivering 24/7 care, responsible for delivering personalized care and support to clients with complex health conditions.
- Assisting with daily living activities: Assisting with personal hygiene, mobility, meal preparation, and other essential tasks to maintain the client's independence.
- Administering medication and monitoring health conditions: Administering medication as prescribed and monitoring the client's health conditions to ensure their well-being.
- Providing emotional support and companionship: Offering emotional support and companionship to enhance the client's quality of life.
- Previous experience: Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care, is essential.
- Relevant qualifications: Relevant qualifications in health and social care are required.
We offer a competitive salary of £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a range of benefits, including opportunities for professional development and training.
