Head of Post-Production Team Lead

Our client, a leading full-service production agency, is seeking an experienced Head of Post-Production to lead their post-production department to new heights.
The Role
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional to oversee all aspects of the post-production process, ensuring all content is delivered on time and meets creative and technical standards. This role requires a seasoned leader with a deep understanding of post-production workflows, strong leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments to achieve the company's goals.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of editors, sound engineers, and motion graphic designers.
- Develop and implement efficient workflows and processes for the post-production department.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Foster a collaborative and creative working environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical or creative issues that arise during post-production.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology, innovations, and software.
- Implement and maintain industry-standard post-production tools and systems.
- Ensure all post-production work meets technical standards and specifications.
- Oversee the management of the storage and archiving of all post-production assets.
- Support the team through editing/motion graphics on projects where suitable.
Essential Skills:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in post-production, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Expert knowledge of Avid Media Composer, Adobe Creative Suite, and Da Vinci Resolve. (Knowledge of Pro Tools and Cinema 4D a bonus).
- Strong understanding of video editing, color correction, sound design, and VFX workflows.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong attention to detail and established creative identity.
- Strong communication, organization, administrative, and time management skills.
