**Role Overview**

In the capacity of **Post-Production Photography Lead**, you will be responsible for ensuring the excellence and uniformity of all photographic outputs. You will direct the post-production team, cultivate relationships with external editing and retouching partners, and guarantee the prompt processing of all visual assets. Your contribution will be vital in upholding the high standards and seamless functioning of our post-production workflows, while delivering an exceptional experience to our clients.

**Key Responsibilities**


• **Quality Assurance & Asset Oversight**: Conduct thorough reviews and quality checks on all images produced by our studio network and external collaborators (including pathing, retouching, and compositing) to ensure compliance with Bonhams' stringent standards.

• **System Oversight**: Manage the upload and organization of all photographic files within our internal systems, ensuring precise and timely cataloging and tracking of all visual assets.

• **Vendor Relations & Collaboration**: Serve as the primary liaison for external post-production vendors, nurturing relationships, providing constructive feedback, and ensuring adherence to our quality benchmarks. Work closely with internal photographers and stakeholders to facilitate the smooth transition of all image assets through the post-production pipeline.

• **Performance Tracking & Reporting**: Monitor key performance indicators, rejection rates, and delivery timelines, generating reports for studio leadership to communicate these metrics. Continuously evaluate and enhance the performance of the post-production team and external partners.

• **Process Improvement**: Propose innovative ideas for enhancing image quality, on-set capture techniques, and post-production workflows, ensuring our processes are effective and cater to the needs of various stakeholders.

• **Team Leadership**: Guide the post-production team, ensuring alignment with the company's standards and objectives. Provide opportunities for training and development to elevate team competencies.

• **Training Coordination**: Collaborate with the Head Photographer to identify and implement training requirements for the team, focusing on enhancing the consistency and quality of images. Develop and conduct training sessions or workshops to address identified areas for growth.

**Candidate Profile**

We are in search of a detail-oriented and seasoned Post-Production Photography Lead. This role presents an exciting opportunity for the right individual to shape and define the position within Bonhams.

**Essential Skills and Experience**


• Significant experience in a post-production photography capacity, particularly with retouching teams, digital technician responsibilities, and file management systems.

• Strong organizational capabilities with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines in a dynamic environment.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of delivering clear and constructive feedback to both internal and external partners.

• A discerning eye for detail and a genuine passion for photography and video production/post-production.

• Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage relationships with external vendors.

• Familiarity with image editing software and internal file management systems.
