We are seeking an exceptional clinical leader to join our team as the Improvement and Assurance Lead for Safe and Compassionate Care. As a senior professional with a clinical qualification and experience in mental health and/or learning disability, you will be passionate about delivering and sustaining patient safety improvements within a NHS provider Trust.
Main Responsibilities- Lead the patient safety agenda for the organization, working closely with the Quality senior leadership team, Quality Improvement & Assurance Leads, and Matrons across the organization to create an environment that promotes and maximizes the likelihood of safe and therapeutic care provision for patients, staff, and visitors.
- Provide professional leadership for all aspects of patient safety, quality improvement, and innovation across the Trust.
- Implement the Trust and NHS patient safety strategy within the organization, providing patient safety expertise and leadership, demonstrating compassionate leadership, and supporting the continued development of the patient safety culture.
- Provide assurance to the Director of Nursing and Quality that the organization is delivering safe and compassionate high-quality care against the set quality standards and outcome measures.

Person Specification- Educated to Masters degree level or equivalent knowledge through experience.
- Strong evidence of continuing personal and professional development.
- Mental health and/or learning disability clinical qualification with relevant professional registration (e.g. HCPC, NMC, GMC).
