About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional clinical leader to join Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust as our Improvement and Assurance Lead for Safe and Compassionate Care and Patient Safety Specialist.

As the Trust lead for safe and compassionate care and the Trust's patient safety specialist, you will be responsible for leading the patient safety agenda for the organization, working closely with the Quality senior leadership team, Quality Improvement & Assurance Leads and Matrons across the organization.

You will provide professional leadership for all aspects of patient safety, quality improvement, and innovation across the Trust, ensuring that systems thinking, human factors understanding, and just culture principles are embedded in all patient safety processes.

The post holder will be responsible for the implementation of the Trust and NHS patient safety strategy within the organization, providing patient safety expertise/leadership, demonstrating compassionate leadership, visibility, and supporting the continued development of the patient safety culture.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead the patient safety agenda for the organization, working closely with the Quality senior leadership team, Quality Improvement & Assurance Leads and Matrons across the organization.
  • Provide professional leadership for all aspects of patient safety, quality improvement, and innovation across the Trust.
  • Implement the Trust and NHS patient safety strategy within the organization.
  • Provide patient safety expertise/leadership, demonstrating compassionate leadership, visibility, and supporting the continued development of the patient safety culture.
