Medical Office Coordinator

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Reception and Administration Assistant. This role will provide comprehensive reception and administration services within a primary care setting, supporting the partnership and associated clerical and medical staff.
Main Duties of the Job
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering reception and administration services, including:
- Receiving and responding to telephone calls and practice visitors in a courteous and efficient manner
- Using SystmOne GP clinical system for prescription generation, online services, and medical record management
- Maintaining the security of equipment, premises, and information, as required
- Managing waiting patients and visitors, and maintaining orderliness within the surgery

Person Specification
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with experience working in a GP practice and knowledge of SystmOne. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
