About the Role

We are seeking experienced teaching professionals to join our team of examiners, moderators, and verifiers at Pearson. As a GCE A Level French Examiner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and consistency of our marking processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • To mark candidates' responses accurately and consistently, adhering to the pre-defined mark scheme and examination procedures.
  • To submit samples to your Team Leader at designated times, ensuring that milestones for marking are met.
  • To ensure all administration is completed as specified, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Requirements

  • A minimum of one academic year's worth of teaching experience within the last 8 years, in the relevant qualification subject, since qualifying as a teacher.
  • A degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Qualification as a teacher.

Competencies

  • The ability to work well under pressure, meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards of quality.
