Job Title: Examiner - GCE A Level Arabic (2018 Specification)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Examiner to join our team at Pearson. As an Examiner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and consistency of our GCE A Level Arabic assessments.

About the Role:

As an Examiner, you will be responsible for marking candidates' responses in accordance with our pre-defined mark scheme. You will work independently, using your expertise and knowledge of the subject to ensure that the assessments are marked fairly and consistently.

You will also be required to submit samples of your work to your Team Leader at designated times and ensure that you meet the agreed milestones for marking.

Responsibilities:
  • Mark candidates' responses accurately and consistently to ensure overall standards are maintained

  • Complete all administration tasks as specified
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a degree or equivalent qualification and be a qualified teacher. You will also need to have a minimum of 5 months' part-time teaching experience of the relevant qualification and subject within the last 10 years. Alternatively, you may have assessment experience with a recognised UK exam board within the last 5 years.

You will also need to have a high level of subject knowledge and the ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and apply the mark scheme accurately.
