As a GCSE French Examiner for Pearson, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and consistency of marking for our GCSE French (New Specification) qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mark candidates' responses in accordance with the pre-defined mark scheme, adhering to conditions of recognition and examination procedures.

• Utilize ePEN, our online marking system, to mark scripts from the comfort of your own home, or work with paper scripts sent through the post.

• Collaborate with your Team Leader to submit samples and ensure milestones for marking are met.

• Maintain high standards of administration and adhere to specified procedures.

Requirements:

• A minimum of one academic year's teaching experience within the last 8 years, in the relevant qualification subject, since qualifying as a teacher.

• A degree or equivalent qualification.

• Qualified teacher status.

Competencies:

• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

• High level of subject knowledge to apply the mark scheme effectively.
