As a French Examiner for International GCSE, you will be responsible for marking candidates' responses in accordance with the pre-defined mark scheme. You will need to adhere to the conditions of recognition and examination procedures, ensuring that you maintain the overall standards of the examination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mark candidates' responses accurately and consistently
  • Submit samples to your Team Leader at designated times
  • Ensure milestones for marking are adhered to
  • Complete all administration tasks as specified

Requirements

  • You will have one academic year's worth of teaching experience within the last 8 years, within the relevant qualification subject, and since qualifying as a teacher
  • You will have a degree or equivalent
  • You will be a qualified teacher

  • You will have the ability to meet deadlines
  • You will have a high level of subject knowledge in order to apply the mark scheme
