About Smyths Toys
We are a leading retailer of toys and games, and we are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Duty Manager.
Key Responsibilities
As a Duty Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering sales targets and exceeding customer expectations
- Managing the store's operations, including staffing, stock management, and customer service
- Leading a team of sales assistants and providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service
- Ensuring the store is well-presented and maintained, including visual merchandising and housekeeping
- Participating in stock takes and identifying opportunities for improvement
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A proven track record in a retail management role
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service skills and a passion for delivering excellent customer experiences
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
