Key Responsibilities

  1. Discretion and Confidentiality

Ensure the security and confidentiality of sensitive data by implementing robust controls and protocols.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration

Foster effective collaboration across departments to address data protection queries and ensure all processes are privacy-compliant.

Leadership and Strategy

Lead monthly compliance review meetings with key stakeholders to discuss findings and assign corrective actions where necessary.

Regulatory Compliance

Ensure Group-wide compliance with data protection and privacy laws.

Data Management

Oversee the development and implementation of data protection and privacy policies, processes, and procedures.

Advisory Role

Act as a trusted advisor to the Group on matters related to personal data and create relevant documentation.

Reporting and Auditing

Provide regular data protection and privacy reporting and advice to stakeholders.

Horizon Scanning

Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and developments in data protection and privacy and implement appropriate strategies.

Customer Service

Respond to data subject requests in a timely and professional manner.

Salary

£60,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Proven experience in data governance and compliance
  • Strong understanding of data protection and privacy laws
