**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Group Manager to lead our Family Support and Protection and Children with Disabilities teams. The successful candidate will have a strong background in operational management and a proven track record of delivering high-quality services.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Lead and manage the Family Support and Protection and Children with Disabilities teams, ensuring effective service delivery and high-quality outcomes for service users.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve service delivery and outcomes, in line with the Tower Hamlets Partnership's vision and values.
  • Provide operational oversight and support to the SEND improvement board, and contribute to key initiatives identified within the Improvement plan.
  • Chair funding panels across Health and Social Care, ensuring effective decision-making and resource allocation.
  • Take on a strategic lead role in Frontline, implementing key thematic areas of the Children's Social Care Improvement Plan, including neglect, harm outside the home, and domestic abuse.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including service users, families, and partner agencies.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and legislation, and maintain high standards of governance and risk management.

**Requirements**

  • At least five years' experience as an operational team manager, with a strong background in family support and protection and children with disabilities.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality services and achieving excellent outcomes.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, and contribute to the development of the Tower Hamlets Partnership's vision and values.
