Job Summary

The Event Coordinator - Sales and Operations will be responsible for handling all event enquiries, responding to inquiries using response templates, and managing all enquires in a timely manner. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining accurate communication, undertaking guest show rounds, and discussing and confirming all booking details with guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle all event enquiries and respond to inquiries using response templates
  • Manage all enquires in a timely manner and maintain accurate communication
  • Undertake guest show rounds to sell the venue and discuss and confirm all booking details with guests
  • Minimise costs and maximise revenue through commercial acumen
  • Sell the venue space to ensure a maximum yield of the diary
  • Follow up on all enquires and ensure the Sales Pipeline is accurately maintained
  • Work with team members to achieve sales weekly/monthly targets
  • Upsell to clients as appropriate and maintain a good knowledge of EY key clients and industry trends
  • Be present for key events to liaise between the guest and the hospitality operations team
  • Discuss all special event requirements with relevant departments
  • Communicate all event detail on a weekly basis and update daily to all departments with any changes
  • Ensure that all company documentation is completed in an accurate and timely manner
  • Ensure all events are billed promptly, accurately and charged to the correct account codes
  • Carry out any reasonable management request and receive and implement any training required
  • Undertake specific projects when asked by management
  • Be trained in the event booking system and accurately place clients and event information into relevant booking systems
  • Relieve and assist in other areas within the unit or other establishments
