Freightliner Group Ltd is seeking an ERTMS Business Change Manager to lead the implementation of European Train Control System (ETCS) across our businesses, including Business Change activities.\/p>

The successful candidate will enable and deliver the business changes required by Freightliner as a result of the adoption of ERTMS and ETCS, acting as a bridge between the project team, Freightliner, and the overall East Coast Digital Programme (ECDP).\/p>

Key Responsibilities:\/b>

Monitoring business stability and ongoing capacity to cope with the level of change; this will include acceptable levels of performance variation (deterioration) whilst the change is embedded.\/li>Creating and maintaining project plans for operational Business Change.\/li>Maintaining the focus of the operating business on realising beneficial change.\/li>Ensuring effective communications with all areas of the business that they represent. Supporting and delivering on the programme communication plan for Freight Stakeholder Group (FSG).\/li>Defining and establishing the mechanisms by which benefits can be delivered and measured - liaising with other teams responsible for impact and performance metrics.\/li>Advising the ERTMS Project Manager whether the work of the programme covers the necessary aspects required to deliver the products\/outputs and services\/outcomes that will achieve the end state.\/li>

Requirements:\/b>

Qualification in a vocational or specialist field short of degree level (e.g. HND\/HNC).\/li>Successful management of major and complex change projects.\/li>Experience of applying project methodologies (i.e. MSP, Agile, Prince2 etc.).\/li>Knowledge of business change techniques and process modelling.\/li>Understanding the operations of the UK railway industry or a related discipline (i.e. transport\/logistics\/supply chain etc.).\/li>

Desirable:\/b>

Member of a professional body\/association.\/li>Understanding of ECDP, ERTMS, and ETCS.\/li>Understanding Freight operations within the UK railway industry.\/li>Operational, commercial, and financial awareness.\/li>

This role requires some domestic travel, which may occasionally (but not often) require overnight stays away from home. A high proportion of the project meetings are usually held in London.\/p>
