The National Composites Centre is seeking a highly skilled Transformational HR Specialist to lead its regional and national Workforce and Skills strategy.

As a key member of the executive team, you will be accountable for developing and implementing a Workforce and Skills strategy that delivers transformational change to support the UK's Industrial Strategy.

  • You will lead the development of an integrated workforce and skills strategy for the NCC that provides targeted interventions in skills that underpin the delivery of the UK's industrial strategy.
  • You will work collaboratively with broader High Value Manufacturing Catapult and Catapult Network teams to inform workforce and skills policy-making.
  • You will identify opportunities for the NCC to use its capabilities and assets to deliver upskilling and reskilling opportunities for existing and future workforce.
  • You will ensure the NCC is actively engaged in defining skills solutions to increase the productivity of the regional industrial clusters of Defence, Advanced Manufacturing, Digital and AI, and green energy.
  • You will play an active role in convening the regional skills ecosystem to collaboratively provide workforce interventions that build a diverse and inclusive talent pipeline for current and future needs.

This role requires a deep understanding of workforce transformation, strong leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across the skills ecosystem.

We offer a competitive salary range of £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including hybrid working, annual salary reviews, company-paid private medical insurance, and up to 12.5% employer pension contribution.
