About the Role

Affinity Water is seeking a skilled Project Delivery Manager to join our Technology & Transformation team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a range of transformation projects across the business, driving change and delivering innovative digital and technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead the delivery of product-centric projects and initiatives, ensuring successful completion on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  2. Collaborate with technical leads to define project scope and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  3. Plan and design project plans, proactively monitoring progress, interdependencies, and resolving issues/mitigating risks.
  4. Manage project budgets, including cost reporting.
  5. Resource allocation and planning, working with leads to schedule resources required to deliver the project.
  6. Assist delivery teams to organize and plan their work effectively, ensuring timely delivery of products and services that meet user needs.
  7. Flex between Agile and Waterfall delivery as required, creating and maintaining applicable documentation.
  8. Facilitate meetings and workshops with project teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure project goals are understood.
  9. Provide proactive and clear communication on project progress, risks, and issues to various stakeholders.
  10. Responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects efficiently, including management of budget, scope, and procurement.
  11. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including project team members, project sponsors, and business partners.
  12. Build strong relationships across all levels of Affinity Water and bring people together to solve problems.
Requirements
  1. At least 5 years of experience in project management, related to both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  2. Experienced project manager in large change and transformation projects, and IT/product-focused small changes.
  3. Excellent stakeholder management approach with ability to influence.
  4. Experienced in working effectively in multi-disciplinary product/service teams.
  5. Waterfall Project Management certification (Prince2, APM).
  6. Scrum Master certification or experience is beneficial.
  7. Experience with Agile project management tools, such as JIRA, is beneficial.
