Job Title: Lead Project Manager - International Assignment

Job Summary:

Ocado Group is seeking an experienced Lead Project Manager to join our team. As a Lead Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading large-scale projects across the globe, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead large-scale projects (up to £100m capital value) from initiation to closure, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including project sponsors, team members, and clients.
  • Manage and motivate project teams, ensuring they have the necessary skills, resources, and support to deliver projects successfully.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring that projects are delivered with minimal risk to the business.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Monitor and report project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or concerns that may impact project delivery.
  • Ensure that projects are delivered in accordance with Ocado Group's project management methodologies and standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure that projects are delivered in a way that meets the needs of the business and our clients.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in leading large-scale projects, with a strong track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Strong project management skills, including experience with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to motivate and lead project teams, ensuring they have the necessary skills, resources, and support to deliver projects successfully.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
  • Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of the retail and technology industries.
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization, with a strong understanding of the importance of collaboration and teamwork.
  • Strong technical skills, including experience with project management tools and software.
