The Role

This Carpentry position is an excellent opportunity to start your career in construction, working as a valued member of our team. You will be responsible for preparing and installing basic building components, such as doors, staircases, and wall units, under supervision.

As a key member of our crew, you will work on building sites and domestic/commercial premises, liaising with other tradespeople like bricklayers, plasterers, and plumbers. This position requires you to work collaboratively in a team environment, using machinery and tools to create roof structures, floors, partitions, and second-fix work.

Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret information and effectively communicate it to different team members and audiences.
  • Ability to travel freely across our region to visit different sites and attend training sessions.
  • Curiosity to learn quickly in a dynamic and reactive working environment.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions to serve customers and protect the environment.
  • Able to understand and follow health and safety protocols.

Estimated Salary

The estimated salary for this role is £18,000-£20,000 per annum, depending on experience and location.
