Job Description: Lead CAMHS Practitioner - Orthopaedic Hospital

We are seeking an experienced Lead CAMHS Practitioner to join our team at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust. As a key member of the organization, you will play a vital role in developing and delivering mental health services for children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the development and implementation of CAMHS services, ensuring that they meet the needs of children and young people.
  2. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care and support to families and individuals.
  3. Design and deliver training programs that enhance staff knowledge and skills in mental health.
  4. Contribute to policy development and review, ensuring that mental health services are responsive to the needs of children and young people.

Requirements:
  • A registered healthcare professional with active HCPC or NMC registration.
  • Significant experience of working with children and young people with complex mental health needs.
  • Demonstrable success in implementing strategic objectives and improving service delivery.

Salary: £60,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience.
