CAMHS Clinical Practitioner Lead

This CAMHS Clinical Practitioner Lead position involves working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing clinical leadership and expertise to our teams. You will be responsible for delivering evidence-based assessments and treatments to children and young people presenting with complex presentations and emotional/behavioural problems.
As a member of our Early Intervention Psychosis Team, you will be working closely with colleagues to develop and implement new models of care, focusing on psychosis, low mood/depression, anxiety, behaviour problems, trauma, emotional dysregulation, self-harm, and suicidality. Your knowledge and experience of working with safeguarding issues and serious mental health problems will be invaluable in this role.
Key Requirements- A clinical qualification and professional registration in a relevant field (e.g. Clinical Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Nursing)
- Experience of working within CAMHS or a relevant child-related field
- Substantial experience of delivering evidence-based assessment and treatments to children and young people
Our ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as computer skills and knowledge of current guidelines and recent developments in evidence-based assessments and interventions for children and young people with mental health problems/disorders.
