We are recruiting a skilled Community Psychiatric Nurse to join our team in South London. As a key member of our CAMHS service, you will play a vital role in providing mental health support to young people and their families.

About the position:

  • This is a fixed-term contract of 3-6 months, with the possibility of extension.
  • As a Community Psychiatric Nurse, you will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to assess and treat individuals in clinic and community settings.
  • You will be responsible for managing a caseload of young people referred to the SEWBS, providing guidance and support to help them overcome challenges.

Job description:

  • Assessing and developing treatment plans for individuals with complex mental health needs.
  • Delivering therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, to promote positive outcomes.
  • Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
  • Participating in regular team meetings and contributing to the development of best practices in CAMHS.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • NMC registration
  • The right to work in the UK
  • Band 6 or 7 clinical expertise
  • CAMHS experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
