Inpatient CAMHS Team Lead

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Inpatient CAMHS Team Lead to join our team at Alexander Faraday Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a clinical team, managing a combined ward and resources, and ensuring effective clinical governance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Clinical Leadership: Provide clinical leadership to the team, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and support to deliver high-quality care.
  2. Clinical Governance: Ensure that all clinical practices and procedures meet the highest standards and are in line with current legislation and guidelines.
  3. Team Supervision: Supervise a clinical team, providing regular feedback, coaching, and mentoring to ensure that they are performing to their best abilities.
  4. Resource Management: Manage a combined ward and resources, ensuring that they are used efficiently and effectively to provide the best possible care for patients.

Requirements:

  • Registered with NMC
  • Experience in CAMHS inpatient services is desirable
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a supervisory role in a Child and Adolescent Mental Health clinical setting (CAMHS)
  • Continuing professional development is required
  • Previous experience of completing clinical audits within the department is necessary

Salary Range: £70,000 - £90,000 per annum
