Support Worker for Academic Needs

About the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to provide assistance to students in need of academic support.
This role involves working closely with pupils, developing relationships and implementing strategies to help them achieve their full potential.
The successful candidate will work in a secondary school setting, providing one-to-one support to students with challenging behaviour.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and support to groups of children with behavioural difficulties.
- Develop and implement behaviour management plans aligned with school policies.
- Monitor student progress and share regular feedback with parents, teachers, and other professionals.
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- Enhanced DBS clearance and registration on the update service (or willingness to apply).
- EWC registration (or willingness to apply).
- Able to provide two recent references.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Safeguarding Level 2 (provided free of charge by Teaching Personnel).
As a Teaching Assistant with this school, you will contribute to creating a positive learning environment.
