The role of an Education and Psychology Support Worker at Academics Ltd involves providing high-quality support to students with complex needs. This includes assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons, implementing Behavioural Support Plans, and collaborating with therapists to address specific student challenges. As part of our team, you will work closely with students aged 4-16, promoting their social, emotional, and mental well-being. Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, facilitating trust and open communication
• Contribute to lesson planning, adapting materials to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities
• Implement Behavioural Support Plans, utilising evidence-based strategies to address challenging behaviour
• Collaborate with therapists to develop and deliver interventions addressing specific student needs
• Work closely with the class teacher to monitor student progress and adjust support strategies as needed

Requirements:
• A relevant degree or equivalent experience in a related field (psychology, education, etc.)
• Proven ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with students from diverse backgrounds
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations
• Commitment to the holistic approach to education, prioritising student well-being and academic success

Estimated Salary: £24,500 - £29,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications
