Job Title: Senior Care Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Care Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of two Supported Living services in Bedford. The ideal candidate will have a strong care ethos and entrepreneurial flair, with a proven track record of empowering staff to achieve under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of two Supported Living services in Bedford.
  • Lead a team of staff to deliver high-quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions, physical disabilities, and complex needs.
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of service users.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of care and support provided, making recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with external agencies and stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcomes for service users.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a Supported Living environment, preferably with a focus on learning disabilities.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and empower staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with service users, staff, and external agencies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations, including the Care Act and the Mental Capacity Act.
