Job Description

CS UK Recruitment Ltd is seeking an exceptional Area Director to lead our services in the North West region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our services and driving excellence in all aspects of our work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Management: Provide strong leadership to Service Managers and Teams, fostering an environment that supports their growth and development.
  • Quality and Commercial Focus: Ensure a quality, people, and commercial focus in all aspects of our services.
  • Financial and Growth Targets: Deliver the Area's financial and growth targets, as well as People and Quality KPIs.
  • Collaboration and Budgeting: Work with the Managing Director and finance team to develop the annual budget and support Service Managers in ensuring services are safely staffed and optimally aligned to their budget.
  • Service Environment: Ensure the Service environments, both inside and out, are appropriately and adequately maintained.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Experience working with individuals with Learning Disabilities or complex behaviors.
  • Significant experience working as a Manager within the Learning Disability sector, preferably Supported Living and/or Residential Care.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Experience of working closely with the CQC and Local Authorities.
  • Confidence, flexibility, and efficiency, with the ability to work on a shift basis and be on call when required.
  • Commitment to providing person-centered care that provides equitable opportunities to all individuals.
  • Driving License.
