Regional Sales Director

Are you a commercially driven sales professional with a passion for business development in the hospitality industry?

Are you ready to lead business development and drive revenue growth for a leading beverage wholesaler?

MacGregor Black is currently partnering with a leading beverage wholesaler in search of a Regional Sales Director. This is a permanent role based in the North England and Midlands region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to drive regional profitability and meet business targets.
  • Build and manage a robust business pipeline through new customer acquisition and effective account management.
  • Identify and engage with potential on-trade customers such as bars, restaurants, and hotels.
  • Create impactful sales pitches, lead negotiations, and secure customer contracts.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with on-trade customers, understanding their needs to ensure satisfaction.
  • Network with brand owners and distributor sales teams to build market intelligence and awareness.
  • Monitor market trends and industry developments to stay informed about the on-trade sector.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to maintain a high level of customer service.

What are we looking for?

  • Proven success in business development, sales, or account management in the on-trade sector.
  • Strong knowledge of the North England and Midlands bar scene with a network of contacts.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently.
  • Proficient in CRM software and relevant sales tools.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
