About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mathematics Specialist Teacher to join our team at Wayman Group. As a Mathematics Specialist Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality Mathematics education to students of all abilities, from Years 7 to 13.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging and stimulating Mathematics lessons that cater to diverse learning needs
  • Collaborate with other Mathematics teachers to develop and refine the school's Mathematics curriculum
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
  • Provide guidance and support to students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments and best practices in Mathematics education

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Mathematics
  • Previous experience teaching A-level Mathematics in a secondary school setting
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the A-level Mathematics curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
