About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mathematics Specialist Teacher to join our team at a prestigious Secondary School in South London. The school is renowned for its academic excellence and is committed to providing students with a high-quality education in all subjects, including Mathematics.

As a Mathematics Specialist Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a love of Mathematics among our students. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and stimulating lessons to students of all abilities, from Years 7 to 13. You will also be expected to work collaboratively with other Mathematics teachers to develop and implement the school's Mathematics curriculum.

About the Candidate

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Specialist Teacher with a proven track record of success. You should possess a strong understanding of Mathematics and be able to communicate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner. You should also be an effective communicator and be able to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Mathematics
  • Previous experience teaching A-level Mathematics in a secondary school setting
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the A-level Mathematics curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
