Our Software Engineering department plays a crucial role in enabling this mission, and we're seeking a Senior Software Developer in Test to join one of our Nottingham-based Services teams.

Key responsibilities
  • Design and direct a testing strategy at system level, ensuring seamless integration and quality.
  • Convert product requirements into testing scenarios, leveraging expertise in Java, Cucumber, Gherkin, JUnit, and RestAssured.
  • Develop creative automated testing solutions that delight and vitalize the lives of credit card consumers.
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality software, driving innovation and excellence.
  • Interface between product management's acceptance criteria and the code written by engineers, ensuring clear lineage from requirements to acceptance criteria to test scenarios to code.
Requirements
  • Excellent programming skills in Java, with experience leading in this area.
  • Previous experience working with AWS or other cloud providers, with a strong understanding of cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Commitment to collaboration and communication, with a drive to teach and learn best practices.
  • Knowledge of Agile Scrum practices, with the ability to contribute to the team's ways of working.
